Jesse Mainardi advises individuals and entities on all aspects of campaign, lobbying and governmental ethics laws at the federal, state and local level. Jesse also counsels nonprofit organizations regarding corporate, tax and political law matters, and works with business improvement districts on compliance with open meeting and public disclosure laws. Jesse joined the firm after working as an enforcement attorney at the Fair Political Practices Commission, where he prosecuted cases involving campaign reporting and personal use violations. He also worked for several years as a transactional and litigation associate at Cooper, White & Cooper. Jesse graduated with honors from Rutgers University and attended Hastings College of the Law, where he served as a Senior Notes Editor for the Hastings Law Journal. He also received a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and has co-chaired the school's Bay Area alumni group. He sits on the Board of the Richmond District YMCA, and remains an active alumnus of Teach For America and Coro.
